Community Breakfast at Kiez Buero Wrangelstrasse

We want to kick off the Berlin Coworking Festival with two things we all enjoy: fun and food! Join us for a casual community breakfast at Ringbahn Coworking and get to know our space and our members. Stay after the breakfast to get some work done in our coworking space. We will be offering free coworking all week on a first-come-first-serve basis so be sure to arrive early! It’s a great chance to meet new people and work on independent projects within a community-focused atmosphere.

Let’s start the new work week together with some yummy croissants, delicious coffee and tasty smoothies. Normally this event is exclusively for our community members, but during the Coworking Festival week we’d love to welcome other coworking ladies into our beautiful space.

Want to meet our creatives in betahaus | Neukölln? Enjoy a cup of coffee and veggie breakfast, while getting to know likeminded entrepreneurs, startups and creatives! betabreakfast is our way of helping you stay up-to-date about the Berlin startup scene. We serve a buffet breakfast in our Club Lounge and watch two to three startups and creatives pitch their ideas. Afterwards, you can ask questions, network with other members of the betahaus’ coworking community, and take a tour through our space.

On September 10, 2019 11:00 am at TUECHTIG, the first inclusive coworking space.

Do you know the difference between Einfache Sprache, Leichte Sprache and Standardsprache?
Duygu Özen and Gunnar Friese will talk about their experiences with this topic. Gunnar is an expert on the language variety Leichte Sprache and Duygu checks the texts for intelligibility.
They will talk to Renate Müller (In-Gesellschaft e.V.) about related challenges and hurdles. Following this, the participants have the opportunity to translate a text into Leichte Sprache. And of course, the text will be proofread by Duygu.

One on the most difficult things to achieve when working by/for yourself is self-care. When everything seems to be so urgent and pressing around us, it’s easy to forget how to stop and enjoy a healthy, relaxing lunch in good company. 🍜
At CoWOmen we lunch together! And we will offer some lunch&learn-sessions every now and then.

After 2 wonderful years of running Coconat we would very much like to give everyone a chance see what we have created here.

Join Co-Founder, Julianne Becker, in the lovely library for a presentation followed by a tour of the project. Either catch the last bus back to Berlin, stay for dinner, or even overnight!

During the presentation she will present information about the founding of Coconat and share some particular successes and difficulties of building up the project, which includes workation, coworking, and coliving, as well as our work in the region.

Participants will have plenty of time to ask specific questions, and have a chance to get to know each other as well, in true Coconat fashion.

By the end of it all, we hope everyone in the room feels they can call themselves a Coconaut!

Coworking Spaces are the work spaces of the present and future. They provide infrastructure and community for people with various needs and backgrounds. That's what makes them so great. But the different cultures and habits of people also make it challenging for spaces to be eco-friendly.

This discussion will take place as part of this year’s coworking festival Berlin, our aim is to broaden the discussion to include different ways of living as well as work; those who share their working space tend to be open to sharing their living space too.

Cohousing, coliving, podliving, cooperatives, tiny house communities – these are all are forms of communal living that are getting more and more popular for people from various age groups, cultural, and social backgrounds.

During this discussion we will analyze the different types of communal living, the motives behind them, their main challenges, and their future prospects; all from people who are building the scene right now in Berlin.

If you are living communally, coliving and/ or coworking, using different sharing economy platforms, we would love to have your input.

If you are curious about living communally in Berlin this is the right place to start as well.

Today, it’s on us! As part of this year’s Berlin Coworking Festival we’re inviting the whole city to the St. Oberholz at "B-Part Am Gleisdreieck" for a day. You don’t need an hour-ticket, a day-ticket or a membership. On this day, working from our Coworking Space at B-Part Am Gleisdreieck is free! Enjoy the day in what is probably the only Coworking Space made out of wood, and definitely the only Coworking Space in a Berlin park. 😎

P.S. There will be a BBQ in the evening.

Our host is the Emmaus Church in the heart of Kreuzberg 36 on Lausitzer Platz. You can work in the church coffee shop or buy coffee, tea, or a piece of cake at a reasonable price. If you feel like it, you are also free to meditate in the church room.

Churches are open spaces – or at least they should be! For this reason we’re very grateful to Emmaus Church for opening their doors to the public for a day of coworking.
